Recently, the “National Power Industry Vocational Skills Competition (Live Distribution Operation) Finals” held in Foshan City, Guangdong Province was successfully concluded. The event was jointly sponsored by the China Electricity Council and the China Employment Training Technical Guidance Center, hosted by China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd., and co-organized by Guangdong Power Grid Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Power Grid Foshan Power Supply Bureau.
At the competition site, 80 participating teams from all over the country gathered at the Nanhai Training Base in Foshan, representing the elites of the power industry in many provinces and regions in China. After careful design and upgrading, the base has been transformed into a modern competition venue with 8 circuits and 16 workstations, providing a staggered professional competition environment for group and individual projects. Foshan Power Supply Bureau not only ensures the top level of the venue’s hardware facilities, but also makes full preparations in terms of software services, providing all-round security services for the contestants, including medical emergency, accommodation and catering, and transportation, to ensure that the contestants can devote themselves to the competition and show their best competitive state.
To support this competition, Handler Company deployed 5 insulated boom trucks from all over the country to help the event go smoothly. In individual and group events, nearly half of the teams used Handler’s insulated boom trucks to participate in the competition. The vehicles performed stably during the competition and helped the participating teams achieve excellent results.
